The Blackout XTE is a unique vehicle with excellent performance and innovative chassis design. Its chassis utilizes many swappable components such as suspension arms, steering hubs, hub carriers, turnbuckles, gearboxes, differentials, and body posts. Each of the four suspension arms on the Blackout XTE can be used at any corner of the chassis, and the same goes for the upper suspension arms and steering hubs. The hub carriers, bumpers, diffs, gearboxes, body mounts, and turnbuckles are all interchangeable front to rear as well.

Equipped with a powerful 550 brushed electric motor, waterproof 40A brushed ESC, 7.2V 3000mAh NiMH battery pack, NiMH charger, and 2.4GHz radio system, the Blackout XTE is pre-assembled and ready to run. The Blackout XTE is a 4WD monster truck with a revolutionary "bashable" chassis design that features swappable interchangeable components and ball bearings throughout. It also has tunable suspension, adjustable ride height, tunable shocks, tunable gear differentials, and adjustable camber and toe angle. Designed with the basher in mind, the Blackout XTE has less parts, which means more savings. Many of the components are interchangeable front to rear and/or side to side. It also features a 16T brushed RC550 electric motor, waterproof 40A brushed ESC, waterproof high torque steering servo, and a 2.4GHz radio system. The Blackout XTE comes assembled and ready to run, including a 7.2V 3000mAh NiMH battery and NiMH charger. It requires AA batteries for the transmitter.
