Redcat Racing's Gen8 V2 International Scout II is the company's first vehicle to be completely designed and developed in-house in the United States. The Gen8 V2 has quickly made a name for itself in the RC marketplace and has been widely accepted into the scale RC crawler community thanks to its out-of-the-box performance.

The Gen8 V2 International Scout II features a range of performance-enhancing features including C-channel frame rails, a low center of gravity battery tray, a centrally-mounted divorced transfer case, lockable slipper clutch, portal axles with metal gear covers, MOD-1 gears, machined aluminum spools, front CVAs, 32 rubber-sealed ball bearings, threaded aluminum shocks, 47º steering blocks, Panhard bar, LED-ready bumpers, and more. Its detail-licensed International Scout II body comes with a hard plastic grill, plastic folding mirrors, molded inner and outer fenders, shackle mount front bumper, receiver hitch ready rear bumper, and plastic rock sliders, all ready for LED light installation.

The Gen8 V2 is equipped with true to scale, licensed Interco IROK Super Swamper tires and functional beadlock wheels, as well as portal axles that provide more ground clearance without needing larger tires. The innovative dual design slipper clutch is fully adjustable allowing for optimal performance on any type of terrain. The stock configuration offers impressive ground clearance, approach angle, and departure angle.

The vehicle is highly upgradeable, with many parts available for download and has a wide range of features such as adjustable wheel base, ride height, toe angle, multiple shock positions, approach and departure angle, tunable suspension, lockable adjustable slipper clutch, and more. It also includes a 17T 550 brushed motor, waterproof crawler ESC, Hexfly waterproof steering servo, and a 2.4GHz radio system.
